He has been doing so well. This is not uncommon, for people to fall back every so often. I am hoping he doesn't have to be in jail for too long.
It is so hard on DaelLynn and you guys! I went to Al Anon for about 2 years because of my SIL's drinking. It was so helpful. Poor little Katie! Maybe DaeLynn should start thinking about adopting her, if she can. I am so sorry this is happening, Diana. It is a terrible disease, and if he is violent, she might be better off staying with you. Janet has a good point. He may need help and it would be good if he gets it. My heart and my prayers are with you all.
