Been thinking about you and your family Diana. How is Dae Lynn doing?

Dae Lynn seems to be doing really good. Glen gave her some money to stay where she's at for another month. Damon had picked up some mowing jobs so Dae Lynn is taking care of them. Right now that's her only income.

Damon was really worried that she would leave him because she had told him that but, of course, she's not going to. I think that's been a big relief to him. Our Pastor has been in to talk to him. He's a wonderful man and I know that he'll be a lot of help with all of this.

We found out right before I left for the weekend that my SIL, Jason, lost his job. He and Amy are in pretty good shape though because they have almost everything paid off. Jason is the kind of guy that he'll find something....it might be cutting wood or tree limbs but he'll find something to do. He's a hard worker.

I'm glad she's doing well. It can all be so stressful. Was Damon open to speaking with the Pastor? I hope he was and will really take to heart and mind what your Pastor has to say to him.

I hope through all of this that Dae Lynn is enjoying being a new Mother. She's in my prayers.

I hope Jason finds something soon! It sounds like Damon is trying to get on track.

Damon is very open to talking to our Pastor. We all are very happy with him. Damon doesn't want to return to the life he had before he met Dae Lynn. He knows that not only is he better off but Karlie is too. And I think that even his own family knows that he's better with us in his life. Our pastor told Dae Lynn and Damon that he would talk with them and if they need more help than he can give then he knows other people who can help. Damon really needs to talk about his war experiences. I really think that Damon is trying. This is just a temporary set back. Soon it will be in the past but it's the trust that will be hard to get back.

I didn't realize that Damon was in the war. I bet he has some post traumatic stress syndrome. If he could get diagnosed through the VA, he could get free counseling.
