Oil Spill Is So Sad

Without letting any politics in...I just wanted to say that everytime something comes on the news about the oil spill...I want to cry and sometimes I do. It's just so massive and affecting so many lives...human and animal. It's going to be around for a long time and it's really scary what this means for the future.

What do you think and does it frighten you?

It makes me sick, too! It just seems like with all of the technology, someone would be able to at least stop the flow. So many people are out of work, and will be for years to come. I just hope and pray that a hurricane doesn't blow through!

It is sad, and it really frightens me. The scope of the spill seems to be huge, and they haven't been able to stop the leak. I can't imagine what the end result will be.

I can't imagine the end result either Judy. The beautiful beaches are now brown in areas and it just makes my heart ache so much. I wish they would get more help out there to keep it from the shore even if they can't stop the flow right now.

It saddens me to think of what it's doing to our ocean, the fish, wild life, and beaches. We're going to be dealing with this for years and years to come. It's a true disaster.

I know....it's just so horrible! When I saw the brown beaches on the news yesterday...I just couldn't believe it, but pictures don't like. All those poor people that make their living off and on the coast. Their lives are going to be changed forever.
