I am so sorry that your Mom had to give up Rusty. It is so hard to lose your dog. She did the best thing for him, but I will be praying for her.

RIP Rusty.

Thanks for all the kind words and prayers. I will tell mom about all of them. She is doing OK, of course she cries when she talks about him, but she is able to say that he lived a good life and that it was just "his time".

She will have her ups and downs, but fortunately she keeps busy with the 3 year old great granddaughter who spends lots of time with her and that will help a lot to keep her from being so sad.

So sorry to hear about Rusty. I'm glad your mom has you all around... that's bound to help.

R.I.P Rusty

I hope your mother is feeling better about this whole outcome. I'm sure Rusty is happy his mommy did the right choice looking out for him.

So sad to hear about this. It's wonderful that she has a granddaughter to help keep her busy so she doesn't just sit and be sad. This has to cause her to think of her own mortality. Huggs to you all!!!
