I can understand your stress, and applaud you for for being so understanding and loving your Grandkids. They are the innocent ones.

Looking forward to seeing little Lucy Ann...

Families... a ongoing soap opera for sure.. I could tell stories about my family that nobody would believe!

OMG! Paula! I suspected something was going on because you had not been on the board as much as usual. But I never thought it could be something like this! You know, I think when our kids do things that make us go, "huh???", it is even harder because there is nothing we can do about it. You just want to shake them and say "WAKE UP!", but of course you can't, so that makes it even more frustrating.

Everything will work out - maybe not like we'd like it - but life goes one and we just do the best we can. On the bright side, you have a precious new grandbaby and you are such a great grandma - that is one lucky little girl to have you as her grandma! It is encouraging that her mom says you can be a part of her life! Once she gets to know you, I feel certain she will keep her word!

Life is just FULL of twists and turns, isn't it!

First off sweet Paula.....CONGRATULATIONS!!!!! What a wonderful gift...a new granddaughter. I know it's easier said than done....but just enjoy your precious Lucy Ann and let the stress go to the wayside. You are such a great grandmother and Lucy Ann is one lucky little girl. Can't wait for pictures!!!

Wow Paula! This is stressful, but I also think it is wonderful! The more people you love, the happier you are. Five grandchildren is a blessing, and I hope that it does work out that you have good relationships with all of them.

I know that when my daughter got to be in her 20's, I had no control over what she did....and now I have Mackenzie! Brandon and Kassidy were born after they got married.

The best thing for me was to accept that she was an adult and to do my best to not get too involved in their decisions. It took several years, but I have done the best I could.

You better set up a Christmas fund!

Thanks girls!! You all are so understanding!! I'm looking so forward to meeting little Lucy tomorrow. She was born on Jan. the 18th. The paternity test results came in on Valentine's day! It's been stressful but now that I know she is ours, I must say that I am excited that I have a new granddaughter! I'm actually going "Baby Lucy" shopping today

I just hope that my son can get over the shock of knowing for sure that he is a Dad!! Everybody makes mistakes in our lives and we just have to keep our heads up and go on and try to make the best of the situation.

And Judy.......you are soooooo right..I am going to have to get a job or something lol!

Paula, Congrats on the newest g-baby and also the g-baby to come. It's always exciting to have new babies in the family. My next baby will be a g-g-baby, but not for a few more years i hope.

Seems like there have been alot of babies on here this past year, enjoy them!!
