My debit card is also a credit card. There is a fee for using the debit card, so I never use it in that way.
I love the reward points! I have almost enough for another Home Goods/TJ Maxx gift card. I think I already have $75 on cards for them. I also have Home Depot gift cards. I got a whole bunch of fancy light switch plates from HD because I never seem to find anything there to buy. It is wonderful to be able to pay the credit card in full each month. They say that before you know it, you're in 20 years debt because of the interest charges. We are all lucky in that sense!

I only use my debit card as a debit card too. I rarely use my credit card because when I look at my bank statement I like to know that's how much money I actually have
![]() I only have a small overdraft on my debit card and so far have never had to use it. When I signed up for it, I think it was a $5 fee immediately, but it may have changed since then. The account I have now isn't offered anymore by my bank, but as long as I keep a minimum amount of money in the account, I don't get charged fees for using the debit card. So, I had to go below that number since I rarely carry much cash, and use my debit card for almost everything. Scott has a credit card connected to Ciniplex movies, and he gets 1 SCENE point (for the SCENE card) for every $1 charged to the card. For every $1000, it's 1000 points, and that's equal to one free admission to a movie ![]() ![]()
