Quick question about name change..

i definately do not want to hyphenate my last name.. lol that would just be waaay too long lol..

cause on my drivers license i dropped my middle name and my maiden last name is now my middle name..

so that means i just need to change my middle name right? so i made an appt to go to the DMV, but does that mean i have to do the whole thing over (picture and all, if i'm just changing the middle name lol)..
