I am so tired......
Ever since Damon's been in jail I've had the kids a lot more. It wasn't so bad at first because I just had Dean and he took 2 naps while he was here but Karlie's out of school now so I have her as well. They are just really taking it out of me. I find that I can't wait for Dae Lynn to take them home so I can have some peace and quiet. Last night I had Dean all evening and he was so grumpy. I could have cried when Dae Lynn finally came and got him because of just being stressed. She's not sure if she's moving in because she knows that it will be hard on me but still the option is there. I really don't know how I'll handle it. I've already told Glen that I'll need a tv in my room so I can be away from them for awhile. I'll make it but it's going to be REALLY hard.

Diana, I can completely understand. I would be completely worn out too. I don't think I could handle keeping little ones for very long at all. I really admire you for how much you are helping with the kids. You are right to think about having a TV in your room to be able to get away. That will really help. Do not feel badly at all, it is completely understandable.

Its no wonder you're tired, your feelings are valid....believe me....
. I know. Having a tv off to yourself is a great idea. Heck!!!! With the basement you have....I'd build a padded room that no one else could enter....your own little hideaway. As much as we love some of our family members.....it's not always nice living with them again.

It is a lot of work, taking care of 2 little ones, especially if you are used to having your own time! I know I am exhausted when my 3 come over for one night!
You do need a "woman cave!"

Not hiding out.....just busy!! I spent yesterday working in my flower beds!!! It was so nice.....no kids!!!!
Then today we went to the lake with the girls and their families. So nice!!! I think that we may put a TV in the basement as well and put Dae Lynn's furniture with it so we each have a separate area to go to. It will help if we can spread out over the house and I'd hate to cram her and the kids into a bedroom. So this will work for the best. Dae Lynn's aware that there's a point where I get tired of the kids and she understands. Karlie, as sweet as she is, can also be very difficult!!! Which she is most of the time. She is a real challenge!!! Dae Lynn's not sure yet if she's going to move in or not.....and I think that some of her decision is because it's hard on me. I do like my time alone!!! I'm sure that it will all work out. I'm feeling much better. I've just needed some time away from the kids. I don't think that I'll have them again until Tuesday so I'll be able to get some things done. |
