Brought Mom home late this morning. They added 2 pints of blood and she's feeling her ole self. We have just got to find out why she is losing blood all the time. They did say her kidneys were functioning at 28% so that is an improvement, but very little. She goes back to her Dr. in 2 weeks and then the blood Dr. on Dec. 27th. Why do they have to wait so long?????

When my grandma was in her 80's she started losing blood volume like your Mother is. Sometimes she'd have blood in her stool, sometimes not. They did test after test and never did figure out what was really going on with her. The good news is she lived to be 94 and was able to walk, talk, sew, and so on till the very end. She got so tired of all the tests that the last time her dr wanted to do a colonoscopy she told him to shove that thing up his own a$$! She was a spunky little thing! I'll keep your Mom and you in my prayers.
