Pink #@$&@#* Eye!!!
Are you kidding me????????????
Yesterday my right eye was really sore at work. When I got home last night I noticed how red and watery it was. I put in some artificial tears last night, in both eyes, praying it was just dryness. This morning, both eyes are super pink Scott does not have it, and I doubt he will get it because he never does. Last time when his eyes did turn red, they figured it was allergies and his allergy meds cleared it up, so it wasn't from me. The antibiotic eye drops never clear it up. I am sure if it were bacterial or viral, Scott would and others be catching it too. My eyes are also not itchy... just sore. They are watery, not goopy. I did some googling this morning and others who have had the same problem have had some luck using steeped green tea bags on their eyes. I'm heading downstairs to do that now! I did use some Bausch & Lomb Original Eye Drops for redness this morning and they did take away some redness, but they still feel sore. I start my new job Monday and I can't be looking like this

Oh Lindsey, I hope you can get it cleared up quickly too. A lot of times I will ask my pharmacist what they recommend for a particular ailment and they have been most helpful.

I can't believe that you're having this problem again!!! Was it this time last year that it started? Maybe you should check your posts and see when it started. It might be allergies for you as well.

It started around May or June last year, and it was December the year before. They're not feeling so bad. I put more eye drops in around noon, took some allergy meds, and they aren't so bad now. Still a bit red though. I'm not wearing contacts today, just glasses. They aren't watering or itching. I wonder if it's allergies.

It sure sounds like allergies. It keeps coming back, but not at the same season???? I think Janet has a good point about asking the pharmacist.

We are going into the city again today so maybe I will ask a pharmacist if we go to Walmart or something.
They were white before I went to bed (from the eye drops), they didn't water or get sore all night, and this morning my left one isn't bad anymore but my right one is still pink. I think if it were pink eye there would be constant discharge and crusties on my eyelashes. I don't know!
