Yes we call them soothers
 They are a life saver for me because I can stick it in his mouth while I get a bottle ready when he's hungry lol! It gives him something to suck on. It also calms him down when he is fighting sleep sometimes. I know some people hate them but I think I'd rather him use a soother than his thumb because I can take the soother away eventually He hasn't discovered his thumbs yet!

I don't think they do any harm, my daughter had one, and she had hers until she was about 3...... only around bedtime though, then when she went to nursery she sent her dummy to the fairies, because she was a big girl then going to nursery!!!!!
I just think they are so cute looking x Just reminds me..... my friends little boy had 2 soothers, one in his mouth and one in his hand, then if he lost it in the night, he had one ready in his hand, worked for them for years. In fact he gained real comfort from his 2 soothers.. bless.

Here they are pacifers. Funny how the name changes depending on location! I think I prefer the name of soothers.
Such a adorable baby boy you have Lindsey!!! Love the picture of him with Kash's squirrel. What do the pooches think of the new little guy? |

We call them pacifiers here in Indiana too, but we also call them Binkies....lol

The dogs are really good with him! Well, I guess they are all a little scared of him lol! Lucy and Kash will sniff him, and be near him if he is sleeping on the floor and not moving. Layla wants nothing to do with him though! I will sit him on the floor near her and she will go to the other side of the room as fast as she can! All of the dogs I think have been scarred by our neices and nephews on Scott's side. They don't have pets and don't know how to act around animals so they go nuts and chase them and really scare them! So hopefully with Ronan they will learn they don't need to be scared of ALL children!
But none of them are jealous at all, which I was worried about when I was pregnant!
