you just replace it they are the same. I haven't had any go out yet and i have had it for 3 years now

I HATE it when you take all this time to put the lights on your tree and then after a few days, a string goes out! I have had this happen and been ready to SCREAM! My decorations mean a lot to me and this sends me over the edge!
