Tink sorry you had such an awful day, But don't let them get to you. No one is indepsensable ... My job as a realtor is really stressful at times, I try not to let the job get to me, sometimes its easier said than done. But lately I have been dealing with the stress better. Remember we can be replaced at a drop of a bucket. Just do your best and it will all come to you. You will see.

Thanks ladies!
I telecommuted for 7 years and had no one interrupting me or standing over me while I did it. I know part of my problem is that I'm no longer used to being in the company of people constantly. They want the radio on all the time and I had it moved so I wouldn't have to hear it since it was right next to me before. LOL I made such a wonderful secluded hermit!

It stings that I can't seem to learn like I used to. I know part of it is menopause which will eventually pass, but it's SO frustrating in the meantime. My 29 yr old male manager isn't particularly interested in hearing about my "female issues" so I just keep that part to myself. LOL

It sucks that even though I asked for help with the things I couldn't handle on my own, I am now "at fault" for them being done wrong by someone who has been there over a year and is my superior in rank. I kinda feel like there's no winning right now.

I simply have to master this soon. I can't help but feel that each additional screw-up is just one step closer to my being fired. I've never been fired so would be just totally embarrased and devastated.

Tink, I know it's frustrating!! In time you will get it and be the one others come to for help when they don't get it. As we get older, we need to keep doing things that challenge us mentally. If we don't we are at greater risk of dimentia and other problems later. We have to keep our brains active and challenged. You're a sharp lady!! Wishing you a better day today!!

My 2 cents. He's mad, but not necessarily at you, but you're there so he's taken it out on you. It sucks I know, but things will calm down. My guess is he's pissed at the substitute manager, but she's not there to yell at or he doesn't have the authority to yell at her, so you get the brunt. If anything you might take it as a compliment, he knows that if you knew how to do these things you would of done them well, but since you haven't learned yet(not your fault, you'll get there) you had to depend on this other woman that did things wrong. I'm sure he's pretty stressed right now since this woman was supposed to take care of things in his absence & she didn't do it or did it wrong. Just try & let it roll off your back right now until things calm down & then keep plugging away. you will get it.

Tink, I'm so sorry that you had a bad day yesterday. I hope that today is going much better for you. I can understand that learning things is harder than it used to be because I've felt the same way about myself. I know that my husband and kids don't understand and I'm sure that a supervisor wouldn't either. Anyway, I hope you're having a great day today!!!

Today went better for me THANK GOD.
No one came in to complain, I was able to do what needed to be done without any major problems, and the one mistake I made, I caught on my own and corrected before it became a problem.

I did have a few tough moments, but it was no where near the nerve wrecker that yesterday was. Here's hoping it continues to improve.
