I would try the pink first. Depending on the concentrations you might get some pink & some purple (due to the blue fabric) just using the pink. If it's not purple enough add some purple sparingly after the pink has dried.

Well, I did it! They didn't come out exactly like I wanted but, I guess this is the neat thing about tie dye...You really never know what you are going to get! I tie dyed ribbing(fabric that goes around cuffs of jammies or shirts~for the furbabies!) It only tie dyed one side of it (because it comes in a tube shape) Now I'm going to have to go buy more dye to dye the other side!! LOL! O well! Do and learn! The fabric is drying right now...I will post pics when it's dry!

I've never tie-dyed either, so I'm no help. My girls did it at camp. Maybe Melissa will post something here.

I have never done this before. I hope it turns out well. I would get the dye all over the place if I tried it. It does sound like fun tho. Be sure and post pictures.

I posted pics in the picture section. For the first time doing it in many, many years I don't think they came out too bad! If I don't say so myself...I know next time I will try to make the design smaller..especially where I am using it on the furbabies clothes.
