I had a friend that sent me a card because she knew that this last week was not good for me and my family and in it she wrote this scripture that I'm going to pass on to you:

In everything we have won more than a victory
because of Christ who loves us.
Romans 8:37

I'll be praying for your situation, Brooke. Keep us posted even if it's brief.

Thanks guys for the encouragment. Things are worse then ever... I did tell my husband I posted here and he wasn't upset... I'm not sure what will happen but I am praying... I am so tired, and stressed, and my gut has a constant hard ball in it form all this... I feel like I've been hit by a stinking truck. But I know the Lord is working, and sometimes you have to go through the hard times to get to the good times. Please keep praying for my famly. thanks so MUCH!!!

Brooke, I am praying for you. Hope these are of some comfort:

"My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing." James 1:2-4

"And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. " Romans 8:28

"Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.
Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Resist him, steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are experienced by your brotherhood in the world. But may the God of all grace, who called us to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you. To Him be the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen." 1 Peter 5:6-11

Brooke, I'm praying that you will find the strength to endure and persevere in your time of trial and grow stronger and closer to God as a result.

"Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy meditate on these things." Phillipians 4:6-8

Thanks marilyn, I know trials make my faith stronger...noting is waisted. I know I am being prayed for because I feel the Lords peace in a situation that has no peace. Please pray for my husband also. I know this will pass...I just can't wait to move on to brighter days...

I love the verses but this is a favorite of mine!

"And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose. " Romans 8:28

This is a horrible situation, but I know I am being prayed for because I feel God's peace even in the storm. I know the Lord will care for me no matter what happens. I feel like I am on a roller coaster and the ups and downs are every day! Thanks for the prayer... it really helps. One thing I can say is the Lord really draws you close to him in the trials!!! You guys are great thanks so much!

Romans 8:28 is beautiful, Brooke. You'll make it thru this situation and one day look back and realize that everything happens for a reason. We may not understand the why at the time, but HE knows the reasons and works everything for your good.

Praying for you.
