1 cup = 8 ounces which is approximately .236 liters or 236 ml.
2 cups = 1 pint
4 cups = 1 quart

I'm trying to come up with a unit of measure you can relate to, Highlans.

And yes, you could cut the calories, but I'll wager the taste would be cut as well. What a shame!!

Thanks Marilyn will write this down, I agree the taste would not be the same forget the calories and enjoy.

Great!! I am so glad everyone enjoyed it! A friend many years ago made me this soup when I was ill. I really enjoyed it and had to ask her for the recipe!!

I've had the reciipe printed out for quite a while, but have yet to try it. With Emilee's pregnancy and other things, I just haven't had time. As soon as these puppies are born and nursing good, then hopefully I'll get it made. It just sounds so good and I love potato soup!!
