Pets?

Hey everyone,

I noticed that a few people on here have Yorkies, but I was wondering about everyone else. Any pets? If so, what kinds, how many, how did you get them, etc.

Just trying to get to know everyone a little better...

As for me, I have a Yorkie named Marty. He's my only pet for now, though my hubby and I are looking for a little girl Yorkie. Marty will be two on June 10th. Since we have no human children, he's our baby! lol Here are some of his pics!

We have a yorkie named Reuger, an airdale named Mollee, a cat (I'm not sure what her name is), and 5 guppies!!! (We had 9 guppies but my daughter changed the water and thought that warm water was what they needed! NOT! Luckily she had only put 3 into the tank!)

We have two yorkies and a golden spitz mix. The mix was a rescue dog, which we highly recommend if you want something other than a yorkie. They have such cute dogs waiting for a forever home. There are yorkies needing rescue, too, of course, but I was selfish there and wanted quality puppies due to all the possible health problems. No

We have two yorkies and one spitz mix. The mix was a rescue dog. They are all spoiled rotten & we don't want any additional pets. We want to travel in the future & 3 dogs is the limit. We just got an RV so we can take the yorkies with us. The mix is 16 years old, so may not be around too much longer, though she's still active and in fair shape for such an old girl.

I have an 8 month old standard poodle named Moses, a rescue cat named Sebastian, and my sons girlfriends dog named Maddie. Maddie is a chiuauau/rat terrier and shi tzu mix.

Moses was my birthday present to myself last fall. He's my big silly baby. He's apricot, is still in his natural coat because winter is too cold here to have a cut, and as a result, looks enomous. He got his name because the first time I saw him with his beard dripping from just having had a drink of water, I said "holy Moses!" and it stuck.

Sebastian we got when hubby found him wandering in the lot of the trucking company he works for. Turns out one of the drivers had had him in his truck until the company found out and told him he had to find somewhere else for him. So he threw him out in the lot and drove off! Hubby felt sorry for him and figured he'd get run over with all those semis driving in and out. We've had him just a few weeks. Since I'm allergic to cats, we're hoping to find him a home soon.

Maddie is an odd little creature. She gets passed back and forth between Shannon and her psycho mom every few weeks. Her Mom kicked shannon out when she was 17, but wants the dog when it's convenient for her. She works on the barges, so is gone a month at a time during which Shannon (and us) end up with Maddie.
