Mine do that!! It's the nails on the middle finger on each hand. I can't let the nails grow too long or they start their gravitational "pull" downwards. Doctor doesn't know why mine do that either. So, I just keep 'em all cut short.

All of my nails are TERRIBLE! I have to keep them REALLY REALLY short ALL the time. I cannot even THINK about growing them out. And I've tried everything!
 Oh well.  I don't mind having short nails.

My nails are VERY very soft, they actually bend as easy as paper, they can't grow long, because they too thin.
