Thumbs down Marilyn, Duck!! Storms, Storms, Storms!

I've been watching the news and they are talking about horrible storms and tornadoes in Texas. They've recorded atleast 60 tornadoes as of yet. OMG!!!

Please let us know you are safe.

Those storms are to hit us in the middle of tonight. I HATE these types of storms and a big ol' chicken!! My hubbies away in KS and I'm a big baby having to sleep alone, let alone during a storm.

Wishing you well over there Marilyn!!

hope it is not too bad tonight Sheryl. Sorry you are alone on a stormy night. If it storms here it is a race to see who jumps in my bed first-- my nine year old or my maltese

Oh my goodness! I used to live in Texas but not in an area where tornados were prevalent. I live in California so I have to deal with earthquakes but I dont think they are nearly as scary as tornados! I hope everyone stays safe.

lol, that's hilarious!

Sheryl, sorry about the bad weather. Honestly, I really love storms as long as I don't have to get out in them. Marilyn, hope everything is okay in your area as well. Be safe!

anyone think Marilyn is just hiding to see how worried we get? Ok I know she wouldn't (I think I know that). I hope everything is ok with you Marilyn.

Sheryl you need a big body pillow or a huge stuffed animal. Maybe you wouldn't realize he's not beside you?

Marilyn, I know you usually check in before going to work. You're scaring me. Please let us know you're alright.

There is the possibility she is out of power. Sending prayers you're safe Marilyn and that you have no damage.

Oh, my goodness ladies, don't fret. I'm quite alright. Sorry I did not get on here last night to see Sheryl's thread and let you know. Hubby needed me to write something for him last night that had a deadline of today. Thank you so much for carring. I'm very touched by your concern.

We're south of Houston, so the severe storms aren't getting this far south. We're just getting a few showers.

Sheryl, you are the one we should all be worrying about!!! The storm system looks like it's hitting your area very hard. Historically there have been some bad storms, but it just seems like we're all getting them so much more frequently now and of greater intensity, whether they are thunder storms, tornados, hurricanes. The weather has gone crazy.

Everyone in this storm's path, please stay safe!!!!

Here's the latest severe weather alerts:

http://image.gold.weather.com/images...sc_720x486.jpg

We're near the coast between Houston & Corpus Christi, so we're in the clear, 30% chance of thunder storms. Melissa is between Austin and San Antonio, so she will be in for more thunder storms than we are, but the severe stuff is out far west.

So glad to see that Arkansas looks clear this morning, Sheryl. Hopefully people who have had damage will have an opportunity to begin to heal.

Again, thank you so very much for your concern. Love you all!!!

Oh good Marilyn you are safe and sound! That's nice.

Yes, storms are coming. They didn't make it last night but are to arrive tonight. I guess these storms are stuck in OK right now but moving on through.

It's ok though, hubby is home now. I've began to remove items from the deck as the wind swings so much around it's a huge mess.
