Hi Ladies! Remember me??!!

I really HATE that I haven't been able to get on and chat lately! My office BLOCKED this site from my computer! I'm so sad. And when I get home in the evenings I'm usually not on my computer since I'm on all day at work. But just wanted to say HI and let yall know where I've been. My last day at work is July 31st, then hubby and I are moving and then I am starting law school August 13! Hopefully I'll have time at some point to become an active member again. I miss you ladies!

Take care and check in when you can. You are missed!!!!!

BTW, I have you to thank for finding Laura Mercier. Their products are incredible!!! Thank you soooo much!!

Hey Rebecca, congratulations on your move. You'll have to post some pictures so we can feel like we're right there with you. Hope the doggies are doing well. I bet Lamar has grown big time!!!

It's not Law School, but our school system starts on August 13th also. It's also the anniversary of my fathers passing in 1974.

Hope you can come back more often....you've been missed.

Hey Marilyn!!!

I'm at home on my lunchbreak so I thought I'd check in!!!! Thanks for asking about everyone!! My hubby is great. He started his last year of medical school last week. He'll FINALLY graduate May 18, 2008. It's a long complicated story, but moving won't affect him at all.

All my babies (dogs) are doing wonderful! Lamar is getting HUGE and has entered his rebellious teenage months that "supposedly" last from 7 months of age to a year of age. But, overall, he's a wonderful dog and we could not have picked a better addition to our family! The yorkies are doing wonderful, too!!

And I am SOOOOOOOOOO HAPPY to hear that you are loving Laura Mercier's products. They ARE amazing and I am glad that I could tell you about them!

Hope everything is going well for you! How are your daughters? Your husband? Your pup?

I'll keep checking in in the evenings and on my lunchbreaks. I'm going to try to not stay gone as long!

XOXO

I'll DEFINATELY post some pictures of the big move! We're finally getting out of this TINY one bedroom apartment and moving into a rental house, which is nice but definately needs a woman's touch...two boys have been living there so needless to say it hasn't been kept in the best of shape. Only ONE MORE YEAR then hopefully hubby and I will be able to buy a house. We have to wait until he finds out where he'll be for his residency before we make a big purchase like that.

What a coincidence that our schools are starting on the same day! I guess we'll both be gearing up at the same time!!!!!!!! My sincere condolences to the passing of your father. I'll remember him on that day.

Janet, I know I haven't posted much, but I HAVE been following all your pups and your new addition! You have the most gorgeous animals and I have enjoyed every minute of watching them grow up. How's Fancy doing? Are you still thinking about doing conformation with her??

Boy it IS great having you back. I can't wait to see your new place. How about some before and after pictures? I'm always up for new ideas!!

Yes starting on August 13th is not too far away. Thank goodness it's not on a FRIDAY the 13th. Would sure hate to start the year off that way....lol

I'm glad you've been keeping track of me...I need it!!!...LOL I gave all the doggies a bath today and it smells so good here. They all look so nice. Fancy is doing great. I'm been attending conformation classes without her since she hasn't had all her shots and the bordetella yet. But I come home and practice with her. She may not make show quality, but we're going on the assumption she will be.

I'm going to post pics of the babies here in a minute, so you'll have to check them out. They are just sooooo cute!!!

I've been MIA as well and only by chance did I stop in tonight to see your post. My new job has all my sites blocked - this one, YT, and the lab site I just joined (at that time). I don't want to "steal" your thread but a lot has been going on with me as well - new job that keeps me busy, busy, busy (managing a 3 physician & 1 nurse practitioner office - whew!!) and baseball with our youngest really picked up back in May (they travel to Pineville, Louisiana to play in the USSSA World Series tournament next week). On top of that, I almost lost my precious Gabby over Memorial Week-end It scares me to death to remember just how close I came to her not being in my life anymore. She developed a deep yeast infection on all four of her paws which, in scratching, she transferred to her ears and her mouth (which in turn ended up in her throat and GI tract). After 4 nights and 5 days at the vet on iv fluids and antibiotics, we got to bring her home. She lost 2 pounds during the illness and after a few days at home, she bounced right back to her bossy self The cause of her illness?? The only thing the vet could determine, because we did nothing new diet-wise with her, is we put in a stone patio and secured it with cement. He said she probably got the dry mix on her feet and when she licked, it became wet which in turn became acidic on her feet. I've always been real careful where my furbabies are concerned and just never, ever thought dry concrete mix could be so harmful! We made sure there was no dry mix anywhere in the yard before we allowed her to venture out in it after coming home.

Again, sorry to have "hi-jacked" your thread. Best of luck on the move! Will your email address stay the same? I'd hate to lose touch with you!! Oh, and Mae is just adorable I'll have to get you some pics of her. She's now 5 months old (almost) and weighs about 22 pounds - and her daddy says she's a smart little girl - sits on command, lays down on command, heels, and comes - now he's just got to work with her on her blood trailing since he wants to use her to track deer this winter. Good luck in school - I know you'll do GREAT!!!

You have a lot going on. I hope you have some time to let us inow how everything is going.

That totally sucks that they blocked you from all your FUN at work! How dare them! So where are you moving? (I know I must be the only one that didn't get the memo about this!) I'm so excited for you. I remember you talking about going to school again, that's so great it's just around the corner!
And moving into a house will be fantastic! I totally understand the whole 'needing a woman's touch'. When I moved in with my bf it had previously been a bachelor house and it seriously needed a bit of 'girly love'.
So many changes in your life right now Rebecca, you much be so excited! Keep us informed, and take care.
Ps, I loved seeing those photos of your pups! They're so cute!!!!
