Three years!

Today memories rush past.
How the time has flown by so fast.
Remembering watching her walk down the aisle,
Seeing him standing in wait on his face the biggest smile.
Watching them both stand before family and friends
both knowing a new life today begins.
Now that day has come and gone
but with each other they keep holding on.
To hopes for a future that is so bright.
Both knowing without the other life would not feel this right.
Trials can be vast and worry may run deep
but to each other for support they will always creep.
She holds him up when he feels down.
He will do the same for her and they can have a night on the town.
Three years, such a long time
But only the beginning of a life full of mountains to climb.
Hand in hand they will face each together
and as one every storm they confront they will weather.
