How cute! How old is he? I just love teenage boys - as a teacher, I got to know my kids really well and there is nothing sweeter than an adolescent boy!

Girls are great, but they begin PMS at 4 and have to be handled with great care.

Judy, he turned 16 last month. Hes voice is changing, and is getting hairy legs. He is in hes final year now, but i remember taking him to "big school" for hes first day like it was yesterday.... he was the shortest in hes class, was bullied in hes second year, he has grown so much, is now one of the tallest in hes class, and is doing great!

On my son's 18th, and apparently on all the other guy's birthdays that he knows, Gillette sent him a new razor with a sample of shaving cream and of after shave. The razor needs $5 per blade refills! The aftershave and cream stink! So he's using the razor until the blade dulls then planning to simply use the less expensive Gillette blades in the razor, and we threw out the stinky stuff. He's using Aveeno for sensitive skin for a shaving cream - less smelly by far, and witch hazel for an aftershave which helps calm down any irritation from shaving.

Awww...go out and buy him a nice smelling aftershave and cologne. Unfortunately, most men are clueless about these things. They're really sweet at that age though, and need a lot of help.

I used to always be after my boys (students) about "Don't do this and don't say that. Girls don't like it." They listened because that's all they really care about anyway - girls, food, and sports.

I once called over one of my boys and quietly told him to take that filthy doo rag off and to please wash it that night, or buy a new one. He said, "Why? It's only a doo rag." I answered, "Because girls will think your underwear is also dirty and they won't want you." That doo rag was off his head before I could take another breath!

LOL Judy, the doo rag story is so cute!

They do need a lot of asistance at this age, showing do's/dont's ... It's a nice ages though, and good to have some "cool time" "chats" with him.

Check the ingredients on these things - there are a lot of toxins in some of them. I bet you can find some great scents at the health or organic store.

LOL, how funny Judy! Teenagers are oblivious to so many things that we consider "common sense," but they are just learning and it's great that you were so sympathetic and could be helpful in a way they would understand.
