They are really trying to make things easier for people on diets. I think it is so great.
I've already tried the chocolate/chocolate chip brownies from WW's. They are so good, but kind of expensive. You only get 3 in a box, but they are big! I've seen products that are not WW's that have the points on them. This may be a little easier than I was thinking...I hope!

Hey, it's not all about the weight. We already love you !! It's all about health. I hope the WW works, because who knows, there are probably people watching this thread who are not posting who need encouragement, too.

Absolutely. Even though I am not dieting, many women I know including my mom are and I know it can be difficult at times. It becomes even harder if you don't have a support system where you can go to for encouragement when you feel like giving up. That is why I feel this thread is so important, and I commend Janet for starting it. This can be the place where people go for support and encouragement when they feel like giving up.

Janet - I've read a couple posts of yours where you are just sooo darn hard on yourself. I hope you are feeling more uplifted now by seeing how many ladies here will support you.

Everyday no matter how hard it might seem tell yourself one great thing about yourself and smile.

No matter how your diet goes, good days or bad...You will always be sweet as ever. Think positive and if you eat a yummy piece of cake one day, enjoy it...The next day just double up on the vegies, and enjoy that too!

I do tend to be very hard on myself. I try not to, but sometimes I just see more negative than positive. When I really try to evaluate why I do this to myself I think most of it has to do with my weight. I have always felt fat and not good enough. But all that is going to change. I'm excited to start WW and like you said with all of you and your support, how can I not win?

Whenever I've ordered something from ebay, "usually" I received the item within 2weeks. Sure hope the WW books come faster than that, but until then, I'm back on the treadmill. I can only walk about 10 minutes at a time, but I've done it 3 times a day so far. Pretty soon I'll be able to do it all at one time. I think last time it took me about a week to do a full 30 minutes.

Janet, sounds like you are well on your way. We can tell from your posts that you are a wonderful person. Rivermom has come excellent and thoughtful advice!!!

Hang in there!! There will be some ups and downs to weight loss. I'm on a very frustrating plateau right now. I'm trying to drop 8 to 10 lbs, and not matter what I do, I'm stuck & can't seem to drop. You will hit times like this and it can be very discouraging, but don't give up. It's all about being healthy. The scale is not always an accurate gauge of what improvements you are making with your body.

Yes!! Rivermom has given me some excellent advice, more than once. Wish she lived next door!!! But I do have to give credit to you and the others here as well. What a great group of loving, caring, compassionate women. You're all the best!!!!
