Renting is a different story...We're lucky that we found a landlord who allows pets. It was only about $400 deposit which isn't bad. It's refundable when we move too. We really had to scour the papers and internet ads though. Almost all of the places to rent around here are "no pets." It's awful!

Yes, you can have pets, like Angie said. I'm not that sure about who takes care of stuff inside, like if the fridge breaks, but the grounds and pool, etc. are taken care of. There's a monthly maintenance fee and if there are improvements, it goes up.
They're usually low buildings, some are 2 story and some are on one floor. I'll try to find a site.
