Everyone has so much going on - it's great to hear about it all.
River - thanks for the volunteer work - you are making the world better for all of us. What do you enjoy most about BBBSL? Is there something you really like to do with your little friend? What is hardest about it? |

Our outtings together are anything from lunch and a movie to simple days of hanging out together. I always find the hard part of working with "my kids" is that I can't fix everything for them. I am sure what you do will never be forgotten. The space away from stress and worry when one is just accepted and allowed to be a kid is often the most important in a child's life.

We had a nice lazy/cosy morning with just the 3 of us, talking, had breakfast, and just hang around. I cooked a batch of food for the fur kids, and watched a movie. Late this afternoon, we went to a restaurant, and had a hot/cold buffet, had some drinks, and laughs, it was good all round.
