I always find the hard part of working with "my kids" is that I can't fix everything for them. I am sure what you do will never be forgotten. The space away from stress and worry when one is just accepted and allowed to be a kid is often the most important in a child's life.

We had a nice lazy/cosy morning with just the 3 of us, talking, had breakfast, and just hang around. I cooked a batch of food for the fur kids, and watched a movie. Late this afternoon, we went to a restaurant, and had a hot/cold buffet, had some drinks, and laughs, it was good all round.
