Kate, I'm in Wisconsin, so pretty far north.
This picture was sent to me by a friend though... so I didn't take it. I just thought it was funny and a good one to share. We do have a lot of whitetail deer around here too... I nearly hit on with my car on Saturday night. They're in "rut" right now, so are running frantically and many end up road kill.

Kate, I'm about 3 hrs north of Madison. It's very rural and like a totally different planet than the area he's in. We're surrounded by rolling hills, forests and farms.
His area is much flatter and heavily populated.

I will have to pull out my slides from my trip through your neck of the woods - I don't remember where I crossed Wisconsin on my way West back in '77. Sounds gorgeous.
