I'm glad you all had a great time at the movies. I love seeing things on the 'big screen.' We were talking about the chipmunks right before Christmas...usually we hear chimpmunk Christmas songs, but didn't hear any this year.

I had chemo yesterday and so far I feel fine on this lighter one. High on steroids right now so that helps I guess. I felt a little bad yesterday but I guess that was because I was at the hospital and the doctors office from 7:40 till 3:15 ant then at the pharmacy for 30 min. I only had a small breakfast at the hospital. Traci had called the doctor and left a message to call if I needed her to come and get me. Ang and Brendon took the kids to walmart to spend the christmas money and got my groceries so I didn't have to get out. I have wonderful kids.

Glad you are not feeling too bad on this treatment. And yes, you have great kids!

I'm glad that things are better for you this time too. That was a really long time to be without food, maybe next time you need to pack a little something with you. It sounds like your kids are really taking care of you. You DO have wonderful kids!

Debbie I am so happy that these treatments are not as bad as the last ones. I agree with Diana though, maybe pack something to take with you next time. That is a long time to go without food.

My positive.......this is the 2nd day in a row that I've walked on the treadmill and lifted some weights. One day at a time.....

This is my positive too! I was so happy that Mom is having an easier time with this combination.

Yeah Debbie! I'm so glad you're not feeling as sick from this new chemo.
I have to agree your kids are very special and I'm sure they love you very much.

Debbie, I don't remember if you posted or not, but how often do you have to have the treatments you are taking now?

I'm so happy for you Debbie that you're done with the "big" chemos.

You're in my heart.

My positive for this week is that I emptied out one closet. I figure that before I even find a place, I should get rid of all of the junk I've accumulated. Then, I can begin to pack.

Would you believe I had one closet that went 99% into the garbage? (I'm not a pack rat, but have tons of closets, so when I buy something, I save the box just in case, etc.).

They are still once every three weeks. The next one is the 23rd, I believe. And only three more to go!

I wanted to tell you all an amazing thing that happened yesterday. Crystal, Bobby and I had breakfast at a little pancake house in the very small historic town of
Jonesborough near us. We have been there a few times but not even enough for the owners to remember us. It is always just so quaint and nice and everyone is so friendly. When I went to pay for the meal-the owner said it is taken care of-have a nice day. I don't know why--I had not mentioned the cancer--I had on my hat but it was a cold day and I could have just had short hair. I don't know if it was the owner or another customer. Just another one of God's blessings and proves there are lots of good people left.
