Mom's temp is going up and down and she's really tired and has a few swollen glands. Please keep her in your prayers that this will go away quickly...

Hi mom!
Look at your candle page now. You are up to 12. I love you and am so proud of you. You have been so strong through all of this. I was so afraid that you would stop going when it got hard or you felt bad. Thank you for fighting this to be here for us. I have always known you were a strong woman, but mom this is above and beyond strong. Just because you have a bad day, week or even month It does not mean you are not a strong person. You have been such a role model for all of your kids especially us girls. You have raised five children alone, you beat the system that wants to hold you down and went to college (with kids), took classes to get a job and found a great one. You have always put us first and you last. Well, it's our turn mom. It doesn't make you weak to need us. It makes us happy to be able to do something to help. Please if we can do anything, even if it is the smallest little thing, it helps us to feel like we are needed. So let us know so we can have the joy of helping. I love you Traci

Traci you brought tears to my eyes also. You and your sister and I am sure the other siblings are wonderful children. Your mom is lucky to have you guys and vice versa.. Continue supporting your mom the way you have , your mom will be back to herself in no time. She has a wonderful family, friends and a devoted community here at 4wt praying for her... She is going to be back to normal soon.

30 candles! This is the most i seen! Thank you all so much for your thoughts and support. Mom is a little down because her levels should drop around my brother's birthday. She wants to take him out but if her levels are low she cannot risk going into a restuarant. Mom, we all know you love us and want you to get better. Bobby would not want you to risk it to take him out. The best birthday gift he could have is a clean bill of health for you. Think of how he would feel if your surgery had to be postponed because you took him out. By next year this will all be a memory and you can throw huge birthday parties or whatever you want to do. This is just one year of being careful. he has had 17 of it being all about him. He can wait a year and won't mind at all.
