When my grandmother passed away, I took a hard look at my life and where I was headed. She didn't pass away from obesity or complications from obesity or anything, she actually died at the grand age of 95.
I just started counting calories, eating mainly white meat for protein & only the amount of protein that would fit in the palm of my hand. Twice that size serving of fruit and veggies. Little to no carbs. 4 to five small meals & snacks throughout the day. I love the packs where the calories are already counted out for you... This site became my best friend http://www.calorie-count.com/ I went from elastic waist pants, to a size three. I feel so much healthier, and I still treat myself once in a while to get my metabolism going ![]() I also do a fusion of yoga/bellydancing and pilates to stay in shape. |
