They're Here!!!

Thanks everyone. We are having such a great time with them. They are so funny to watch and play with. I love them all, but I do have to say that the second one is my favorite. She comes running the minute she hears my voice. I would LOVE to keep her, but 5 is just too many....I think.

Janet, they are getting cuter and cuter!!! Reminds me of Zoe when she was a baby. She was 7 weeks and 19 oz. when we got her. Don't freak out about her age. We didn't know any better and her breeder had two litters at once, 12 puppies and she had two tiny's in the mix. She was going to have to separate them to protect them from the others so we brought Zoe home. She loves yorkies and has 12 dogs of her own.

I showed your puppies to Rex and he just shakes his head. He's afraid you will give me puppy fever, too.

I would never freak out with you Marilyn. I, too, didn't know any better and we brought one home at 8 weeks. I thought I had done all the research, but obviously didn't do enough at the time. I didn't even know there were Yorkie forums when I got my first Yorkie.

Your "girls" are so cute, Janet!!!! It's hard to believe that they're already 6 weeks old!!! They grow up too fast!!! You could post pictures every day and I wouldn't get tired of them.

I'm so glad Marilyn and Janet, that your puppies were alright coming home at such an early age. I certainly wouldn't have known any better if I'd have found one that young either. I knew some of the questions to ask when I talked to a breeder but they all went out the window when I saw the puppies. I was lucky because I think that I had a really good breeder. I have no complaints.

I did finally get my husband to say that I could have another yorkie, but........by the tone of his voice I know that he didn't mean it so I'm still going to wait. If I did get one with him feeling the way he does I wouldn't enjoy it as much.

I have enough trouble keeping two looking nice and giving them the attention they demand. Zoe is sooo needy. When I was at home working Saturday she kept coming up and barking at me wanting to play. When I try to leave in the morning she jumps and jumps at me wanting to be picked up just like a little child. She either wants me to stay or wants to go along. I'm not sure which.
She's spoiled, but she's so sweet I just can't help it. We can spoil our dogs. We know better than spoiling our children like this.

Janet, I don't know how you do it with 4, and from your pics, they all look beautiful with long coats. Zoe's coat is long, but Chase's is a cross between a yorkie and a schnouser (sp?) cut, medium on his head and skirt, short on his back. It's really cute on him. I'll have to post pics after he's groomed.
