That was 20 years ago, and we've lived together ever since! In fact today is our 15th wedding anniversary!

I knew it had to be love, because i missed him when we werent together. I never had the "pink cloud" experience like i think most people have? He's not the kind of guy that whispers sweet nothings, and i'm not the kind of girl to do that either, so from the word go, there was no kissy kissy soapy stuff. What you see is what you get, and we are both still the same person.

Here's my story. My husband was a friend of my brothers. My husband is very quiet & shy. I went to visit my brother one weekend & met my husband. I had just gotten out of a relationship & was looking for new dating prospects & he was by far the cutest in the room. So I went over & started a conversation. He acted like I was the only person in the room & I loved that. My brother could tell I liked him so he made me a deal that if I got them tickets to the Purdue/Ohio State game he would bring my crush along (I went to Purdue, my husband & brother went to an Engineering school in Indiana). So I got tickets. Well friday night before the game (Halloween weekend) they showed up, but we went our separate ways (they went to the bars, I went to frat parties (I wasn't 21 yet)). I was on my way home when I saw my brother & husband walking down the street, I pulled over & my husband jumped in my car & my brother told me I could take him home. Little did I know he was very drunk. When we got home we kissed a bit & then he passed out in my bed. The next morning should of been ackward, but it wasn't it was like we had known each other forever. & I knew at that moment I would marry him. I told him I loved him a month later. He wasn't ready to say it back (he'd never said it before), but a couple of weeks later he said it back. I knew it was love because if something good happens or something bad happens he's the first person I tell. I have to tell him. I knew he always had to be in my life because I couldn't imagine what I would do if I didn't have him to talk to. He is my best friend & the only person in the world I can spend everyday with & not kill.

My hubby and I had class together in college. The first day of my freshman year (he was a junior) in college, I walked into my first class and sat down next to the guy that is now my husband. The teacher told us that our seats that we were sitting in would be our assigned seats for the semester. So, my permanent seat for that class was next to my now hubby. I had a boyfriend then, but he was a huge jerk and a pot head. So, after getting to know my hubby in class, I fell head over heals in love with him...I cannot even describe it. I broke up with my boyfriend, asked my husband out on a date to a sorority funtion of mine, and we have been together ever since. I was in love with my husband before we even had our first date! I used to have dreams about our wedding day before we even started dating!

It's probably a good thing he said yes when you finally asked him out.

I can visualize it like it was yesterday....The moment I first laid eyes on my husband and then heard him speak, I fell in love. I am pleased to say that the love still holds, maybe not as intense but there.

I couldn't imagine loving any other man like I do him.
