My $4000 pair of socks

Well - I'm been trying to stay positive about the entire fertility issue - finding humor in some of the craziness of it all.

I just finished paying for last month's failed attempt and I figure if I don't laugh about it, I'm going to cry.

Medications - $1500 out of pocket
Procedures - $2500 out of pocket
For a total of $4000 dollars.

I didn't get pregnant - but I did get to take home a really great pair of aqua marine socks after the egg retrieval. They're the kind with the little anti-skid pads on the bottom.

I'm going to wear my $4000 dollar socks every day for the next 10 years, to make sure I get my money's worth!!
