Spring Cleaning !

Looks like i have to get started on my basement today, my sister got some new living room furniture, and i'm getting her old set, it's very nice, make a nice familyroom downstair, but my problem is i have to get rid of some of my junk downstairs, so wish me luck going to start on it tonight when Micah goes to bed. Get rid of all his old walkers, etc. Going to be a long night. But it's going to look nice when it is done.

I have all the junk out, but now I need to go back and thoroughly clean. I usually enjoy spring and fall cleaning, I hope you do since you're getting started. Everything looks so nice when we're done.

i love to clean to, but now it's harder with Micah. i have to wait till he goes to bed. it might take me a couple days, but i'll get it done. My sister wants the old couch out of her house, so i have to get my butt moving here....

That's really nice of your sister to give you her old set! I'm sure that it will look really nice in your basement! I bet that you have a lot of stuff to clear out because a person can accumulate so much baby stuff expecially in their first year. You'll have it done in no time and will be enjoying the extra room before too long! Good luck!!

Thanks Diana, and yes i have tons of baby stuff, i'm going to donate to our local church, Micah grew so fast, i have bags of clothes, maternity clothes, walkers, etc. it's all getting packed up and shipped out, it kinda made me sad yesterday going thru that stuff, i really don't want to throw it away.. makes you want to have another child.

Diana is sure right on this one. If you're not sure whether you're going to have another child, I would keep some of those items. Baby things are getting more and more expensive all the time.

i already decided, my marriage is just to unsteady to bring another child into the situation. sad but true !

I am trying to do cleaning. I want everything done before I have surgery. It is hard since I still work half days. And then there is all this time I spend here---- Oh well!

well i got the basement mopped and dusted, got a truck load of baby stuff i'm taking to the church on my lunch break, moved some furniture around downstairs and i think i broke my big toe! it's killing me today.

Hubby was no help as usual!
i still have tons of boxes to go thru, i don't even know whats in them.. Start on them sometime this weekend when the baby takes a nap.
it's starting to look nice. i have a flat screen tv down there, going to take that see if i can get that fixed, and well have a tv downstairs too.
