Diana,
I get mine out of the blue also. I kind of decide to figure something out, and then don't think about it. I just let it "percolate" in my subconscious (as much as possible) until I come up with the answer. I had a meditation teacher who taught me that trick years ago. I know I come off as very spiritual, but I really do believe that when I do this, God gives me the answers.
