Update from Mom

Debbie, it's so good to hear from you!! You just rest and get yourself all healed up!!! That's all that we want for you right now!! I'm still praying for the soreness and pain to go away. Thanks for staying in touch!!!

Mom has had some trouble tonight. Some of the stitches around her drainage tubes are coming loose. she paged the doctor on call and he told her just to tape them up for the night and to come in the office to have it restitched in the morning. We are hoping that her doctor will go ahead and take the tubes out since they are to come out Thursday morning anyway. She can use all your thoughts tonight. She isn't sleeping in her bed tonight because we think that may have been how they are coming loose. It is hard to keep them from pulling while she lays down so she is sleeping in a recliner.

I'm sorry that she is having troubles again. I will say a prayer for her and keep her lifted up. I hope this all passes soon...I know this has been a rough ride for everyone

Mom says the tape is working and helping to keep the tube in place. We're just hoping it stays until Thursday when she has her follow-up appointment with the surgeon.
