Janet, I was planning to get a clipper and learn until this lady decided to open a boarding kennel/grooming salon about a mile from me and for the full groom she charges a whole $25... heck at that price let someone else wrestle with him! lol
A clipper able to do a standard poodles coat is well over $100 and then you've got the nails, bath, anal glands and blow drying to do besides... well worth the money for me! She didn't do as nice a job as the other lady did with Moses, but she's also half the money and Chip's not as willing to cooperate. For what she had to work with I really didn't feel I could complain.
