Thanks Tink. I believe when God closes one door he opens another. I was on the phone with my cousin today (she's 19) and she has offered to donate eggs. I told her that we shouldn't make any decisions while we are this emotional. But it is at least giving me some hope.

Dobie, I am so sorry. I gave up trying to hold the tears back, because I know that disappointment. I wish there was something I could do or say, but I know there isn't anything. The only thing that would have helped me when I had devastating news was if someone would have handed me a baby to keep as my own. I am glad you realize that this is not the best time to make decisions. This is a wonderful gesture fromm your cousin. When and if you do consider this just make sure she understands that donating the eggs means it is YOUR child. She may visit as a close cousin, but the child and all matters concerning him or her is up to you and your husband and does not include her. Also, make sure that she can deal with watching the child grow and not feeling in any way that it is hers. I do not mean to make this time more difficult. I just wanted to make sure you have thought of these things before discussing it with her. *hugs* Best of luck to you.
