If you want to try to drop the blood pressure med, start eating more garlic and walnuts. I'm not kidding, this works. One of my brother-in-laws lived in Austria for a while. They eat lots of garlic. His blood pressure actually got too low.

Cinnamon lowers cholesterol if you want to add more cinnamon to your diet it won't hurt and may well help. I got mine down from 268 to 170 by watching my diet and including cinnamon. I'll sprinkle it on chili, a sandwich, whatever I am eating. Carry it in my purse.

By the way, I have been taking no meds on a daily basis until yesterday. Now I'm taking Evista and am supposed to do so for the next 5 years. It's been found to reduce the risk of breast cancer.
