Isn't it just terrible...
that in order to put a water jug in freezer that something has to come out to make room for it?
In this case its ice creme. Oh darn!! Had to polish off about a quart of that yummy stuff to put a larger (half gallon) jug of water in for work. I take a jug of water everywhere I go... fill it about half way, freeze, then fill with water. Stays cold all day!! Well, my quart just isn't doing it for me anymore, so had to put my half gallon jug in freezer. Not to worry though.. still have 2 other half gallons of ice creme!! I just hate to run out of anything! I believe in a spare for a spare.. |

lol, I'll come help you clean out your freezer! I used to keep a 2 quart insulated cup on my desk at work. This one guy always freaked out "you actually drink all of that?" "No, I actually drink at least 2 of these" I didn't find out until a couple of weeks after we started having that conversation that he thought it was filled with coffee!!!

I love ice cream. I didn't buy any this week and probably won't for awhile. If it's here, I'll eat it. I love vanilla ice cream (put in the microwave just a tiny bit so it's not hard) with Hershey's chocolate syrup and Planters Dry Roasted Peanuts. Oh what a treat!

What a great way to make room in the freezer!!! I bet you really suffered!!!! I'm not a real big ice cream eater but I had cherry pie with ice cream on Saturday and ice cream has sounded pretty good since then........and the sad part is is that the ice cream was left here! There goes my diet!!! At least hubby hasn't found it. He's having trouble with his blood sugar again.

I'm not sure what heaven will really be like, but God has said it will be wonderful, so there will have to be ice cream there!!!!
When we were in Italy, we discovered Gelato. Oh my, there has to be Gelato in heaven, too. I've had some over here, but somehow, it's just not the same as the real thing!!

Okay Gina...what's the scoop? Plastic containers huh? What about plastic bags? What about the plastic buckets that some ice creams come in? Is it really bad?

Lots of interesting reading there... I work in a plastice manufacturing plant and I can assure you that plastic is dangerous. If you ever read the contents of the bags of material they use to produce some things... 'warning labels' everywhere. The process is actually quite interesting to watch. But if you ever smelled the fumes emitting from this process while it is being heated... it can be bad. Eyes burning, throat hurting.. and these people have to work in this for 8 hours. That is the extreme of course. For the size plant it is, there is a large cancer rate. Its scary and something I think about. Oh and the ice creme was vanilla with chocolate syrup. Yummy!! |
