Josh finally insisted they head for the hospital. * wont be surprised if they get sent back home, but he's so stressed and is supposed to leave in the morning for work again for the week nearly 2 hrs away, so I think he's hoping to WILL this baby to be born tonight. lol
I hope he's right... and her contractions hadn't slowed down any, but having had 3 of my own, I'm not convinced she's quite ready for the hospital yet. The baby has dropped and for someone who's only gained 13 lbs, she's got quite a package there! I took this pic earlier today when I had her out walking with me. Katieflowers.jpg

Katie and Josh opted to come back home for a few hours, so are on their way. She's 100% effaced, dilated to 3 and still having contractions, but not terribly hard ones yet. The hospital gave her the option of staying or leaving. They told her it will be a long wait if she stays; but that she will most likely be back there in the morning.

Oh cool!!! I'm so glad that I checked in to see what was going on!!! I'll send up a prayer for Katie and the baby!! I'll have to check back in in the morning!!!!

Oh my... things are progressing and the hormones are kicking in!
Katie was here a bit ago and she's having considerably harder contractions now. She was obviously in pain, so Josh and I both turned to look at her and nearly got our heads bit off for it! LOL The hospital has 4 midwives, and you end up with which ever one happens to be on call when you go in. Of course since Katie likes 3 of them, it's the 4th one (who she doesn't like) that's on call tonight and tomorrow. Ironically she is the one who delivered Katie 20 yrs ago and Greg chewed her out back then. lol
