Vacation!!!
My husband has decided to take this week off for vacation. He may be changing jobs, not sure yet, but didn't want to lose his vacation so next week he will be home.....all week....with me....all week....hmmmm.
It may work out okay, because I'll be painting and he'll be fixing Ricky's car from when it was wrecked. This will give him plenty of time to get it done, hopefully and he'll be out of my way while I paint. NO, before you even suggest he help paint...he has tried to help paint before and it is no longer allowed. Matter of fact, he knows if he is even in the same room he stands a very good chance of being painted. It works better this way for him to work in the garage and me work in the house.

Janet, you sound so much like me.
My hubby has volunteered to take a week's vacation when I have foot surgery (changed to August 8th because of my Mom's death). I can't put any weight on it for the first week. Like you, I'm not sure how this will work out. I don't like being babied or waited on. Maybe I'll leave the landscape demolition for that week. I wanted to do it today to take out some of my grief, but he wouldn't let me start!

Just keep a list of "honey do's" handy for when they get on your nerves!! My husband would go stir crazy if he "had" to stay in the house with me for a whole week!!! That or he'd have all of my unorganized areas organized and I'd never find anything ever again!!!!! Good Luck!!!!!!

Trying to watch him fix it was driving me mad...lol. It's best he just do what he knows and leave me to do what I know.

LOLOL....Diana, he is still alive...so far, the week isn't over yet. Today was the first day he even offered to help me. He taped off part of the hallway so I can paint it tomorrow. We'll see how tomorrow goes....if he doesn't help me a little bit to put the family room back together, I may have to hide at your house...LOL.

Well he didn't help after the taping of the hallway. I had it almost done when he started helping anyway. I let him live....why...I don't know.
