Well today is his third day and seems to like it a lot. Also likes the convenience of being closer to home and in our home town. He sold his motorcycle and it was easier for him to just go right to the license branch here in town. Seems to like the other guys and they are nice and friendly to him as he is to them also. Hopefully this will work out for him otherwise about the only thing he will be able to do is apply at one of the factories. He's not a factory type of guy, so we'll just keep our fingers crossed that this place of business and Rick are a good match.

I am glad to hear things worked out so well. You should be able to save lots of money on gas since he is working close to home. Congrats on the new job!

Thanks Michell! It's only been 3 days (today) and he said he can already tell he's saving by the gas guage. I'll save even more....LOL...because now I won't have to run to town...he can do it all while he's in there...LOL.

WOW! Janet I guess we havent really had time to talk much since I HAD TO GO BACK TO WORK.. i really hope this job change works out for Rick. It had to be really hard to go there everyday and just be miserable.
I am so glad to hear he is trying to stop drinking also. I know it has made a big differnce with Keith & I since he stopped. I know everything will work out in the end. We really need to get together soon. Lynne

I'm glad the guys there are friendlier to him. It's hard to work in a place where you don't feel you fit in. My prayers will contiue that this ends up being a good match for him.
