It was $3.64 here yesterday. What makes me so mad was that as the cost of oil was going up so was the gas EVERY day. It sure is taking it's sweet time coming down.

Wouldn't it be nice if the price came down as fast as it went up. I don't know where to go ahead and fill up or keep waiting for it to go down even more.

Gas here spiked 13 cents per litre OVERNIGHT, to $1.45/L.... converts to $5.52/gal from $4.99/gal just yesterday
Glad I just filled up last week.

Yep, it is price gouging and I wish someone would do something about it. Prices went up about twenty five cents today. Yes, the refineries around Houston may sustain some damage, but it hasn't happened yet, so the prices should not be rising today!!!

Yeah they talked about this a couple months ago on the radio... If there is even the THREAT of oil prices going up, our prices are raised immediately. But then, if the price goes down, our gas prices still stay high because that gas was bought by the while it was high. Well when the threat is there, it doesn't change that they still bought that gas at a cheaper price. It just doesn't work both ways.
I also don't quite understand how this works with Canada... I live in oil country, and yet the storms down south still affect prices up here. It somehow works like we export it to the US and then buy it back for a lot more money. I'm not exactly sure why, I really know nothing about oil and gas! I should look into it
