Am I back?
I've really missed plugging in everyday, but I think I'm back!
Had a huge argument with MIL, so she went home yesterday. Hubby's back to work, leaving me with 11yo and 5yo g-daughters. Went for first week's foot checkup on Friday and he said I'll be off work for 3 months. I'll go this Friday to get stitches out and change the cast for a boot. I HATE CRUTCHES! I haven't had much pain, just some discomfort. I never imagined the problems with not being able to bear weight on a foot (for 3 months). Actually, I'm doing OK, just not able to do the things I planned while taking advantage of my time off. I was bummed out at first because I had planned to recup with my Mom, but she left me. I have enjoyed spending time with g-kids! We'll try to finish a t-shirt quilt today. I'll be able to get online more now since I don't need to keep my foot elevated above my hip. Missed y'all.

So great to have you back Sandy!! Now you can help me beat Gina in the 'I Win' game. Well the arguement with your MIL must have worked....she went home....LOL.
3 months will fly by so fast, you'll be surprised. Nice to know you're not dealing with pain. You'll be able to still get a lot accomplished I'm sure. You know what they say..."where there's a will, there's a way." Glad you're back!!

I'm glad that you're back and everything's going so well. I'm sure that your granddaughters will take good care of you while they're there.

Welcome back. Even though you will be out for 3 months, you probably won't be off of your foot the whole time. As time goes by you'll be able to do some of those things that you wanted to do while you are home. But don't overdo it!

My daughter came to take the g-kids to see a movie - my treat for all their help. Boy, my house is quiet. My 17yo g-son is here, but is napping!
Hubby told his Mom she needed to go find a doctor to either give her stronger Provac or memory pills. She was out of control and accused me of things I did before I was even born. I told her that she would not be welcome back into my house. Hubby asked me to tell her different, but I haven't yet. Maybe she has to apologize first! I didn't keep my foot elevated much at all yesterday and I had some pain last night, from swelling and blood flow. But, I finally drifted off without a pain pill.
