Weekend plans?

I love shooting a gun, rifle, shotgun, archery...LOL. I have shot archery since I was about 8 or 9 years old. Started shooting a gun just a few years older I think. I use to love to go rabbit hunting. One day we were out at the flower shop, lots of rabbits out there, and this one stood on it's haunches with it's back to me. Just as I pulled the trigger it turned and looked at me and then my father-in-law said..."that's my favorite", (he was just teasing.) I haven't been able to rabbit hunt since. That was probably 20 years ago, it was before my son was born. I do miss the rabbit gravy though...lol

I come from a large hunting family too... my younger girl cousins do hunt as well, but I don't. I'm too sensitive! But my dad and brother go deer and moose hunting every year, and our freezers are always stocked with meat. When it starts to go down or they don't get much in their hunt, my parents usually buy some elk or buffalo from local farmers. It's nice knowing where your meat comes from!

I hope everyone's weekend is going as planned so far! My party yesterday went really well, and I made some vodka punch that was a huge hit with everyone! There was one little snag in the day when all of a sudden a fire truck pulled up in the alley and 4 firemen got out (okay a couple were cute) and said someone had reported an illegal firepit, but before even coming into the yard the one guy was like "It looks fine to me" and one of the cute ones was like "Hey guys... we just thought we'd stop by for a beer" So they just got our information and left.
Everyone decided to either go home or head to a bar at around 11 last night so I got to sleep pretty early and left the cleaning for this morning. Now I get to just relax!!

Weekend plans here are just cleaning my nick nacks in the kitchen and doing laundry. Yesterday took a road trip with my husband for work. That was fun.
This afternoon going to make veggie beef soup. YUMMY. I put a Deer Roast in the oven it smells really great. May even make noodles and rolls.

One of my cousins called this week and they came and spent the weekend with us. They came late on Thursday so we had Friday to do a little bit of shopping in our little town. Then on Saturday Lynette (my cousin's wife) and I went in to garage sales and found one HUGE one. We never made it to the others! I've never seen so much stuff!!!! I found a few good buys. Then on Saturday afternoon they had a family reunion with the other side of their family and we went out to eat after they got back home. Rick and Lynette are always a lot of fun and we really enjoy having them over, but I'm really tired. Today's been a good day to rest and get ready for next week.

I think it sounds as if everyone had a really good weekend. I sure wish the chat would work so we could all chat about it.

I wonder why. But they've always taken a little time to get back with us on stuff. I bet that YT keeps them pretty busy!!!!

With all the drama that goes on over there, you're probably right. Hopefully they'll respond soon, maybe if someone else tries to reach them, they'll let us know what is wrong with chat.
