Plano may have gotten some rain but that's about it. Lake Jackson was hit pretty hard. They are not letting them back into Brazoria County yet, so it may be a couple of days before they get to go home. My boss lives in Lake Jackson and I think he was on a business trip to Michigan. Hope all is will with his family. I'm sure they got out and are okay.

Gayle, from what we are hearing, Bay City area should be okay, especially if the house is on stilts. They got some surge, and rain, but not much of the wind. They are saying the homes on concrete stilts faired the best in areas like Bay City but it's far enough away, that wooden ones probably were okay.

Let us know for sure though.

Will do. We have friends who live in Sweeny who will go over there when they can get through. We talked to them yesterday and like you, seemed to think everything would be OK. The road to the house floods with a heavy rain, so it may be a few days before he can get in there.
