For My Mother
Tonight my Mom will be spending the night with me. I have to have her to Lafayette by 7:00 AM for her surgery so it will be easier for both of us to wake up and leave from here. She will have a local, but it usually puts Mom completely out. She is having that fistula thing put in her arm.
They won't know till they get in, if her veins or whatever it is (having a hard time thinking this morning) will be big enough. If not, I'm not sure what they will do. I am feeling very nervous about this. I know that it's not all that dangerous (all surgeries are) but I'm really uneasy. I trust the Drs. so does Mom so that isn't it. I won't tell my Mom how I feel because I know she is nervous enough, so I needed to tell you. Please keep my Mom in your prayers tomorrow, pray that they will be able to insert the fistula with no problems and that she will be okay. I just keep crying so I guess I need to get it out of my system before Mom comes this evening. Thank you my wonderful friends...I love you.

You're in my prayers too Kat. I know you'll be fine after your surgery, so don't worry. Let us know or have one of the kids let us know how you are. Tell them not to take any of the onriness out...that it works just fine...lol
