As I read all of your posts...I thought to myself...I don't know a whole lot about this subject, but hey...it's weather. It's been really nice here the last few weeks. Oh we've had some heat...cool at night...yesterday rain...today a bit cooler, but suppose to be a beautiful weekend...

Don't know much about the ozone, but I hope it stays away from Indiana.....lol.

The weather has been weird for a few years anyway. We've had so much rain this summer that the crops are actually hurt from too much moisture and not enough sunshine. On the other hand, we seem to be having a wonderful fall!!!

I'm sorry to hear that you've had too much rain - they've had too much at our farm in Oklahoma too! Now, here in central Texas we've not had any rain in soooooo long. We did have some night before last, but that was the first rain in many many weeks!!!

i know in Pa the farmers almanac is predicting a very cold winter, i hope not, but i've seen some bad winters living in Pa... i guess its a pittsburgh thing i'm just worried about driving Micah to daycare ... if it gets really bad i'll just wait for the snow blows and work late....

Our alamanac is predicting another winter like '78. I wasn't around, but I guess in '78 our area had massive blizzards & snow ins. I haven't seen snow like that since I was a kid. I'm not sure if I'm looking forward to it or not.

We had a terrible blizzard here two years ago... the whole city shut down. People were spending the night wherever they were... restaurants, work, schools. Luckily we got sent home from work after about an hour, and we drove in a line... good thing because I got stuck TWICE on my way home, but I had people there to push me out. Even just leaving the parking lot at work, I barely got out because the snow in that ONE HOUR had accumulated higher than knee-deep around my car! The snow was coming down so thick, I couldn't see 5 feet in front of me. Traffic lights were pretty much hidden from view.
I've seen bad snowstorms before but that was definitely the worst. I was SO happy when I finally got home.
