Yes, it is a facial piercing. It is called a Monroe, I did it myself with my professional equipment. A lot of girls opt to get it right above their upper lip, more like Madonna or Cindy Crawfords birthmarks.

Thank you for all the compliments ladies, I am still getting used to it. It has been about 10 years, around sophomore year I started dying it all sorts of darker colors.
